I was interested in this website as it promised that I could make thousands of dollars a week, I mean, who would not want to make that kind of money online!
If you are reading this post, then you sure have sound thoughts before joining this website.
There were a lot of things about the website that I felt were just not right, and hence, here is a detailed review of this online money making website.
What Is American Online Jobs?
For starters, American Online Jobs is like an online job board claiming to help users make upwards of $1600 a week.
The website works on an affiliate model, getting commissions for each job the company can fulfill. But the real essence of the site is to promote paid surveys and earn a commission in this way.
American Online Jobs offers two different kinds of opportunities to earn money. The first service allows you to fill in some quick surveys to make money.
The website has tied up with Opinion World, a leading survey website. Through Opinion World, the company can provide surveys, and an opportunity to make some quick bucks.
As the second opportunity, American Online Jobs provides flexible and remote jobs to allow users to earn money. The company has tied up with Online Flex Jobs to provide virtual working opportunities.
While the first company offers paid surveys, the second company offers flexible jobs claiming to spend at least $18 per hour.
To equip you with the right skills, American Online Jobs also provides training. In total, there are eight training videos. The videos try to explain to you the nature of the work, and how can you make more money.
The work offered on the website has two different parts. One aspect of the work is to complete the surveys and join some focus groups.
The other is referral programs, where you get paid whenever you refer anyone to join the website or any other associated program. You get a commission for every person you refer.
Things I liked about the website
1. The website offers training videos during the registration process.
2. There are various kinds of work available. You can choose the type that suits you the best.
3. There is no particular time when you are required to work. Whenever you feel like working, you can work. There is plenty of work available at all times.
4. Online Flex Jobs pay $18 on average. That’s better than many other freelance work rates.
5. The referral program, if done well, can help you make money even when you sleep. It is a steady stream of passive income that can make you some quick bucks.
Things I did not like about the website
1. The most significant disadvantage of this service is how the website is set up. There is no page telling how the service works, or anything about the company.
2. You are required to purchase and download some anti-virus software for which you need to pay upfront.
3. There is no guarantee that you will ever make a single dime, even after paying the website to register.
4. American Online Jobs offers no clear picture of the kind of jobs you will be required to do, or how will you be paid.
5. While making money with surveys and referrals may sound lucrative at first, it doesn’t pay that much. Particularly the referral program.
There is no guarantee that you will ever make a single penny. So even if you work 10 hours, you may end up earning nothing.
Would I recommend this program?
Well, from the looks of it, American Online Jobs is not delivering what it promises, which is- making thousands of dollars every week.
I was skeptical if it is possible to make that kind of money online for real, and I can guarantee that it is not possible with this website. So, the claims made on the sales page are not real.
This is the reason I would not recommend the website, and another reason would be that the earning potential is so low.
It’s like they show you stars, but in reality, you are nowhere close to making even a hundred bucks a month. Making money from this website is going to be more difficult than advertised.
It is better to invest your time in some online training that would help you get the skills that you need to make thousands of dollars online.

Overall, the website did feel slightly dodgy to me, and even though there are ways in which you could manage to make money, it is not worth the time, especially when you can make a full-time income online with other options out there.
