How to make money online is a very hot topic and in this post, I’m going to walk you through the process of the best way you could make money online. There are a lot of ways to make money online and not one of them have proved to be good enough to attain full financial independence. There are a few ways but they aren’t reliable or something that is going to be permanent.
If you are looking for financial independence then you are on the right page!
Building an online business isn’t a quick and easy road to success but if you are persistent and if you keep following the right steps then you will ultimately make a full-time income and never have to look back again!
I have tried to look into many online programs which promised me a full-time income but not all of them were up to my expectations and not all of them delivered what they promised. The best way which will make you loads of money so that you have some extra cash in the beginning and a full time earning in just a matter of time is affiliate marketing.
The major three steps that are involved in making money online are:
Building your own Website
Your website will act as a foundation to your entire business and you would be trying to build it every day making it better so that it gets ranked on Google and you could easily get traffic on your website and the more the traffic, the more conversions or sales you could grab on to your website.
I know building a website may sound taxing. Initially, I too gave up on the idea of building my own website by starting off that way, but later I realized it is much easier than I thought. I had just wasted my time thinking that I won’t be able to do it. We should never neglect our potential! Anyone can make money online, you just need to be dedicated to the entire process of making money and be committed to your business online.
Building a website is not a herculean job, it is very easy and can be done in less than 30 seconds. Check out the video below to create your own first website for free!
Choosing a niche
This is a step which I have feel confuse people a lot, this step was a little tricky for me as well. I always recommend that you choose a niche in which you are genuinely interested because you really have to do some research on it and write informative posts on it almost every day in the beginning.
I have seen a few people choose niches thinking that it would make them more money but the truth is you can earn money in any niche as each and every niche has its own target audience. It really doesn’t matter if your niche products are expensive or not, because anyway, you can make money from it. All you need to do is try being regular in posting articles on your niche website for at least 6 months!
So, I strongly suggest that choose your niche without thinking about the money factor and rather think about working on a niche where you can actually help people. Once you build trust among people, they would automatically come back to your website and might even make a purchase.
When I was starting out I thought having a niche website about something that is expensive would make me a lot more money. Hence, I thought of reviewing a niche which I really was not that enthusiastic about and after a while, it became a pain in the butt to write anything on that topic. Soon I gave up and then tried my hands on something that I was really interested in(It was Yoga). I found it much easier to write posts related to yoga because I was genuinely interested in it and I hope you understand where I’m going with this!
The bottom line is to choose a niche in which you are genuinely interested.

MUST READ: How do I choose my niche
Traffic generation has always scared me and it does even today! You do have these doubts- Is anyone reading my posts? Am I doing things the right way?
These questions haunt you when you start out building your website and have dedicated most of your time in content creation. However, getting traffic on your site isn’t that difficult. Let’s move to the most basic ways of how you could get some traffic on your websites.
Content: Many people neglect this aspect of an online business but “content is king”. It is really important that you create helpful and useful content to keep your site updated. You do not need to be an English Major to write content for your website. You need to write simple and understandable text which people can easily read and understand. To rank your website, you need to constantly keep posting at least four times a week so that Google realizes that you keep your site updated and keeps checking your website for content and ultimately increase your rankings in the search engines.
Keywords: Low hanging keywords are very important when it comes to selecting keywords for your post. Excessive usage of keywords will do no good. Try using them in the post title and the first line of your post, that is all. You really need to keep these two points in mind before you get started with writing a new post. If you are wondering what are keywords then check out a detailed post on them here.
Imp: Use keywords in the post title and first 160 characters of your content.
Social Media: Sharing your content on Social media is very important and for that you need to have your accounts active on Facebook, twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Flipboard, etc. I suggest you start out by promoting your website on these platforms and see which one works the best for you. You can take another step and join your niche related groups and then share your posts there to engage with the right audience for your website. Facebook worked out for me, let me know what works for you.
Rankings in Google: Your rankings within google depend on many factors but the most important and the crucial one is content! Content is king ! There are very few websites out there that are giving out some good quality content to their targeted traffic so if you look at it that way, you do not have much competition. My pages started ranking on Page 3 of Google after writing 40 posts of useful content. So , yes. It does happen!
All you need to do is focus on writing content with the right keywords and try sharing it on social media to get some engaging audience. This is some work that you need to do on your website, but in the end, the hard work involved pays off.
