You have probably come across Immunotec on the internet or a friend introduced you to their products and more. Usually, their distributors exaggerate their products claiming that they can cure various diseases and even cancer.
However, you should know by now that you can not trust those. It is great of you to research about the company and their products first before saying yes to any of their offers.
Immunotec also advertises their so-called business opportunity that they claim to be very effective and it will make you financially independent.
Most Multi-level Marketing Companies say this in order to garner more people. The reason is that recruiting people is the major way to earn money with MLM companies.
MLM companies require you to put in a lot of time and effort and most of those investments that you put in will not feel like they are being paid off.
However, if you are great at recruiting people then Immunotec might be for you. So read on as we discuss everything you need to know about Immunotec.
Immunotec only became a company in 1996 but the story behind it goes way back to 1978.
Dr. Gustavo Buonus and Dr. Patricia Kongshavn initiated some research in 1978 in search of the perfect dietary protein that will improve people’s immune systems.
In 1981, they found out that the antioxidant, glutathione affects the health of people in a good way.
That is where they started since they have found out that glutathione is one of the most powerful antioxidants.
Fast forward to 1996 and Immunotec was founded by Dr. Gustavo Buonus along with colleagues, Chuck Roberts, John Molson, and Dieter Beer.
Today, the company has its headquarters in Montreal, Canada. They also have branches in 23 other countries around the world.
What is Immunotec?
Immunotec is a Multi-level Marketing Company that is under the health and wellness niche. That is a pretty crowded niche but they have been around for so long.
Immunotec is now known as one of the top health and wellness companies that started from glutathione to distributing other products that contain other ingredients.
Only recently, they have added products under the skincare line and brain health. The products before that include Omega-3, multivitamins, and probiotics.
As an MLM company, they introduce themselves as sellers of legit products but they highlight their business opportunity where you can earn money while staying home.
The elements you find in scams and Pyramid Schemes are not all seen in MLM companies but there are components that are very similar causing people to suspect.
MLM companies recruit people in order for them to earn real money. Selling their products will be good but not enough.
You need to recruit people that will sell the same products and you can earn a percentage on their sales. That is how MLM companies work.
What does Immunotec sell?
Immunotec’s flagship product is the Immunocal that was first launched in Canada back in its founding year.
Immunocal is a whey protein that came from cow’s milk. Its main function is to make your body produce more glutathione to improve your overall immune system.
There are a lot of claims that they put in this product alone including:
- Improves muscles strength
- Maintenance of the immune system.
- Build and repair body tissues and antibodies
- Produce amino acids
- Assists in the building of lean muscle
Immunocal is not that cheap too, they sell this flagship product at $106.50 per 300 grams. Immunocal was also improved by the company with a product called Immunocal Platinum.
Immunocal Platinum is an improved version of the original Immunocal so naturally, it is more expensive. For 375g grams, it costs $151.75.
The other products that Immunotec sells are their skincare products.
Elasense skincare is one of the new product lines introduced by Immunotec. The products range from moisturizers, night cream, facial wash, and age-defying serums.

How can you earn money with Immunotec?
For most MLM companies, the two ways to earn money if you join them is to sell their products and get a commission or recruit sellers to do the same and earn from their sales.
Immunotec has 7 ways for you to make money with them including the two mentioned above. So let us simplify each way for you to get a better grip on how money flows in Immunotec.
First is the Retail Commission
So basically, when you join as a distributor, or in Immunotec, as a Consultant, you are automatically eligible for the Customer Retail Profit.
This is where you can make money by joining as a member and earning discounts. When you buy a product, they give you a discount and you can sell the products at their retail price.
You get to keep the extra money from your sales.
Customer Autoship Profit
This is where other people need to get involved so you can earn more money. Customer Autoship Profit is the money you earn based on the monthly orders of Autoship customers.
Note that only the ones you personally enrolled as Autoship Customers will be the basis of your commission in this category.
Customer Volume Bonus
This bonus is based on your monthly Customer Sales Volume. It is the total purchase that your personally enrolled customers make in a month.
You get more money if your personally enrolled customers buy more. Even if they did not purchase from you, their system still registers them as your personally enrolled customers.
By that, you can earn as much as 20% bonus from your Customer Volume.
Business Builder Bonus
You earn this by helping your personally enrolled customers sell Immunotec products. This depends on the point system.
The points are called Business Builder Credits which are calculated on a monthly basis. You earn credits when your personally enrolled customer sells the products.
This is where you can earn money based on the retail sales that your entire downline makes in a month. This is where your rank would matter.
See, Immunotec has a ranking system that takes too long to discuss. But basically, you earn more money if you rank higher.
In order to rank up, you need to recruit people. You can earn money up to 8 levels of your downline. The levels are easier to understand.
Your level 1 downline are the first people that you recruited, your second level of downline are the people that your personally enrolled consultants have recruited. So on and so forth.
Moving Up and Accelerated Bonuses
The Moving Up Bonus is earned when you rank up to another associate rank and you are able to maintain within two months. This is a one-time commission for most MLM companies.
But with Immunotec, you can earn this commission several times on the same rank. It goes like this.
If you are able to rank up within a given timeframe, that is what they call an accelerated Moving Up Bonus.
This is where you can earn the designated monthly commission for every month that you can maintain that rank.
You can earn up to $10,000 a month if you reach the Platinum rank in 2 years.
Sponsor Moving Up and Accelerated Bonuses
You earn the Sponsor Moving Up Bonus if one of the Consultants under your downline ranks up to another level and they are able to maintain that rank for two months.
For that to happen, you need to rank equal to or higher than the Consultant that is about to rank up.
The Accelerated Sponsor Moving Up Bonus is earned when a Consultant under your downline ranks up in a given timeframe.
How much do you need to join Immunotec?
You can join Immunotec as a Consultant via visiting their website. There is a button on their first page that says “Join Immunotec” and from there, you will be guided accordingly.
You need to pay for the]registration fee that costs $45 that will include your own website which s a replica of the websites that they give to all of their Consultants.
The starter packs that you need to purchase contain different products that you can use to sell.
The most affordable starter packs are the Health BBB 1000 PV, Elasense 1000 PV, and the Health Booster 1000 PV which all costs under $300 each.
But you also have the choice to buy individual products if you do not want to buy the expensive starter packs just yet.
So what do you get as a consultant?
When you become Immunotec’s Consultant, you can earn the discounts mentioned earlier and you are also eligible for the commissions.
You will be trained by experienced Immunotec Consultants on how to sell the products. You also have access to tools that you can use to sell.
Immunotec Consultants are also invited to business events organized by Immunotec. You will meet your fellow consultants and other higher-ranking people in the company in these events.
What I like about Immunotec (Pros)
1. Established Company
- Immunotec was founded 4 decades ago. You would expect it, for now, to lie low in business but Immunotec is still running strong.
- When you enter a business, you would want the company to be stable and that is what Immunotec exactly shows.
2. Affordable Entry Fee
- Immunotec only requires you to pay $45 as a registration fee and you can have access to many tools that you need to sell the products.
- Another great thing about this is that you are given the choice to buy an expensive starter pack or only a few products for your startup.
What I do not like about Immunotec (Cons)
1. Expensive Products
- The company’s flagship product, Immunocal costs more than $100. That is pretty high compared to other companies.
- In a niche that is basically the most crowded one, having an expensive product might not be the best tactic to have
2. They Overexaggerate their Products
- Immunotec has claimed in the past that their products can cure diseases. This might make customers angry and may lead to legal issues.
- There is no proof that their products are FDA approved so you might want to take a step back and consider buying or joining them.
Would I recommend Immunotec for you?
No. Immunotec does not even have information about their founders on the website. That is a big red flag. Another big red flag is that Immunotec is an MLM company. You are bound to fail in that kind of business.
Statistics show that only 1% of people who join MLM companies succeed and only the people in the higher ranks earn most of the money.
So what do I recommend?
If you want to earn money at the comforts of your home, avoid MLM companies that are more likely to fail you than give you a real opportunity.
Immunotec is a great company and it has been around for so long. But most of their Consultant do not last because they cannot earn real money.
