When starting with online income, most people feel the need to start an online eCommerce store. They feel that it is the best way to make money online, as it replaces the traditional money-making idea in a digital way.
However, when they get started they face a lot of problems, like store design, development, maintenance, SEO, and the high cost of inventory management.
All these factors demotivate them, and they ultimately drop the idea of opening the store. However, with Limu, things are different. Limu gives you tested products to sell online and also pays you a commission when a product is sold by you.
If you planning on investing your time and energy into this money-making opportunity then do so only after reading the complete review-
What Is Limu?
Limu is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) platform that allows users to start their own home-based business by selling their branded health and energy drinks.
Targeted towards the youth, Limu allows anyone to make money by selling the company’s seaweed-based beverages.
Limu has various products listed on the website, however, no prices are mentioned. This ultimately means that you will have to contact the website in order to get a better understanding of the prices, and the process involved in selling those drinks.
The basic idea behind the website is that you promote their products and help them in selling their products, and in return, you will earn a commission for each sale.
How Does It Work?
In order to get started and earn money through Limu, you are required to sign up on the website. Next, you need to select the products that you intend on selling.
Since the prices haven’t been mentioned on the website product page, you need to get in touch with one of the promoters to learn about the pricing.
Pricing can range anywhere from $135 to $999 depending on the Promoter pack you choose. After this, all you are left to do is promote the product. The more you sell, the more you earn.
On every beverage can that you sell, you earn 20% of the retail amount. You are free from the nuances of maintaining and running the website, it’s security, and of course the funds required to maintain the inventory.
From order fulfillment to delivery, everything is managed by Limu itself. Your only job is to bring as many orders as you can on the website.
However, there is a requirement of buying your inventory every month, even if you are unable to sell it. This is where it gets a little challenging.
There are way too many different membership packs to choose from but something common in all of them is that you need to buy a certain amount of Limu products every month.
Depending on the products you sell, the affiliates that you hire and the products that your affiliates sell, you would be getting your commissions.
I don’t get it though if Limu is a pretty good product then why does it have such an extensive membership plan. Understanding hte membership plan took me an hour and after an hour and a half, I realized that it was time well wasted.
It is more like you are going to be so confused about learning the membership plan that you wouldn’t realize when you get sucked into this MLM scheme.
Wait, there’s more to Limu’s MLM scam…
Limu’s products can be sold in different ways and you can buy different packs in order to sell the drinks. You can even hire affiliates and then you get paid depending on the products that they purchase.
The chain then continues as you get benefits from the affiliates that they hire in turn. Overall, Limu just seems like a program that needs more than just selling their products in order to make money with them.
If the energy drink is not so famous already then I do not see the point promoting them except for the fact that you can fool people into being their affiliates so that it would help you make money online.
This is how most of the MLM’s convince you into buying their products or memberships. They show you the big picture where you could hire more affiliates and they would, in turn, hire more affiliates so that you could have a constant stream of income.
1. The website has been designed well. Also, the packaging has been done keeping today’s youth in mind. All this helps in targeting a better audience, thus helping you to sell the products easily.
2. The website has different varieties of products. There is something for everyone and you could decide which products are the best selling ones and sell them more often to make profits.
3. Limu can also help you to network socially, as it organizes events every now and then.
1. The prices have not been listed on the website. You need to get in touch with the promoter, in order to get started. This means there is a possibility that you are going to get lectured on the different ways that Limu can help you make money online.
2. You are required to invest heavily initially as you need to buy a package to be able to use the service.
This sounds lame as promoting a product is already beneficial for the seller and if you have to pay to promote the product then you never know what this program is upto.
3. You need to buy a certain number of products every month, irrespective of whether they are selling or not.
This is the catch within the program, if you buy a set number of products then the company makes a profit regardless of the fact that their products are selling or not.
4. The Limu products are on the expensive side of the segment with a single can costing around $50.I don’t understand why would anyone buy a drink for $50.
5. You are asked to spend money by buying a lot of memberships and inventory when in reality, you are not sure if you are going to make nay money back or not.
Would I recommend this program?
Have you ever drank Limu? Well, this should answer your question. I have seen multiple MLM’s that sell such basic products that people would not even care to buy from an individual seller.
Ever had someone selling you some vitamins and you felt like they were pushing you to buy the product?
Limu is a similar MLM product that you would be selling and it is going to look cringy just like the guy selling vitamins to you looked like.
The opportunity is not that great as well because you are selling just one prodcut. If you had products in different niches then you could have an online store and ran ads that could help you make sales.
But selling only energy drinks can be a little tricky and since you have to sell a set amount of products every month. The whole thing feels like a web where you would be stuck with some products without anyone to buy them.
Limu is not going to be my recommendations and there are so many reasons for it along with the ones I mentioned above. If I started listing all my reasons for not recommending the program then you would be reading a REALLY long post.
But the Limu’s marketing strategy when you look closer doesn’t make sense and it is very hard to believe that they are legit. There are so many other ways to make money online but sadly Limu is just not the way I would recommend.
When I started online I had very little money to invest and all that I wanted to do was get started with a legit course that would help me make money online.
I was even low on budget and Wealthy Affiliate was probably the best value for money course out there as it comes with a lot of benefits for just $47 a month.
You can give Wealthy Affiliate a try yourself if you are interested in having an online business that would help you earn a full-time income.
The course is beginner-friendly and you can get started for FREE as well since Wealthy Affiliate has a trial membership.
If you go premium in the first week then you get the membership for $19/month which is a nice introductory offer as you are spending less than a dollar to check out the entire training, the benefits and if it is the right place for you or not.
Apart from the training, you can ask me questions personally through PMs and I would reply to all your questions within 24 hours. You would get my expertise in choosing a niche and how you can make money from your website quickly.
If you have any more questions leave them in the comments below and I would be happy to help!
