What is the Secret Affiliate?
The Secret Affiliate is an online Internet Marketing course where you are going to make money from websites. According to the sales video, you do not need any special skills to get started with the course.
All you need to do is place some links on a website and then plug it to a ‘”1.3 billion goldmine” and you would eventually end up making commissions selling thousands of products.
Now, this might seem very tempting but in reality this just seems like another fake promise.
There is no “secret” in Internet marketing. There is no such thing as a secret goldmine, loophole or anything else that would instantly transfer a lot of money in your account.
Since this is what the website claims, it is sad to see that the promises made by Secret Affiliate are far-fetched. Even an advanced affiliate marketer can take a few months to start making a full-time income.
This website goes all out and says that you can start making money online within a few days after joining the program which does seem unrealistic.
The method that is taught is affiliate marketing and Affiliate marketing is a pretty legit way of making money online but I can certainly say that this website is not the one you should look upto if you want to make money from affiliate marketing.
Let’s clearly state all the pros and cons of the website in order to help you understand if this website is really worth your time and energy.
Pros
1. The product is affordable as you just have to pay a one time fee of $17.
2. The method they teach to make money online is affiliate marketing and it is a legit way of making money online. In affiliate marketing, you would be promoting other people’s products and for every sale that you make, you get a commission.
3. The video clearly explains that it is going to teach affiliate marketing and is not secretive about its money-making methods like other make money online courses.
Cons
1. The part where it says that you need to plug your website to a ‘1.3 billion goldmine’ is where I lost all my trust in this course.
There are no such loopholes when it comes to making money online and if making money online was so easy and quick then everyone would leave their regular jobs and jump on this bandwagon.
2. Affiliate marketing is a legit way of making money online, however, if you have a website you need the right targeted traffic in order to make sales.
Targeted traffic is when you send the right people to the website which promotes the products that they might be interested in which would then generate sales.
The sales video never talks about how they would help you get targeted traffic, rather they just assume that when you plug your website to a random Internet goldmine you would start making money by selling products.
3. The sales page is clear about the methods they would teach but it is still the half-truth and that is a big red flag.
They do not explain clearly how they would teach you to get traffic on your website and simply move on to selling dreams by showing the typical Clickbank screenshots.
Would I recommend this website to anyone?
No. The Secret Affiliate promotes affiliate marketing which is a legit way of making money online but the claims made in the sales video is far from the truth.
You cannot make money instantly from affiliate marketing until and unless you have a website which is getting you targeted traffic and those websites are sold for at least $1,000 and even then you need to know some Internet Marketing skills to increase the value of the bought website.
So, making money is not a cake walk as explained in the video. This website is just going to waste your time and energy which is better invested in other courses.
